    Hate it.......

    I ordered a new headset for my SS 92er and the wrong part was delivered - a 1-1/2" headset instead of 1-1/8" (it was in a box that said 1-1/8").......otherwise, I'd be riding SS this week.......now I'll just have to wait - send back the part (out of my pocket) and wait for the new one to arrive........sux........

    They are making you pay for shipping back when they sent you the wrong part? I would not shop with them again. Who did you order from so i don't make that mistake?

    Yeah, I agree. If they don't refund your return shipping when they see it's the wrong part, I'd do business elsewhere next time.

    Price Point sent me the wrong brake pads one time and when I contacted them they told me to keep them and shipped out the correct pads at no extra cost no questions asked. Granted this probably wouldn't work with a more expensive part.

    This......one idiot on fleabay jerked me around on headset missing shims and I will never buy from him again. Can't think of the userid at the moment, but if I see it I know it. HIs feedback was like 98%, apparently he sells so much stuff he doesnt' care about the people who leave him bad feedback lol.

    Who did you get your parts from? I messed up on a order from JensonUSA a while back and they bent over backwards to correct it when it was my fault. In fact it was when I ordered my SS from them.... Even Forum relevant!

    Sounds wrong. If you are given the wrong part offer it back to the shop for the correct part as that is what you ordered. If they decline getting you the correct part as ordered then dispute charges. Next find a new shop to deal with. You are under no obligation to cover cost of return shipping given it is incorrect. As long as you have no intent of using it you are in the clear.

    Short rant. I ordered a new frame and the rear triangle was bent. OEM offered a new rear triangle for their bike at an added $600 cost replacing the new triangle that came with it. I let the OEM know that they could now pickup their defective product and set it in the shed. After a few weeks they decided they better pick it up or loose both the money and frame.

    Sorry to hear about your experience.
