was a goodun'. stuck with just the stem, as the upper loop was pretty nasty, and i really don't like tearing up trails worse, thus pissing off even more hikers.....

here he's working up the section just below the step/turn section. fun stuff! jumbled enough that it's very hard to keep a constant cadence going. trialsy moves help once in a while.

just up the step, then up onto the ledgy thing. immediate 90 degree left turn up the slab. going through the slot just below it to make the turn usually is a bad move. pedal grabber, and very tough to get right while going up trail. down is different.

and lastly, while on our way back down. eric coming out of the sun.

Hey!

What time were ya'll there? I rode Hall, and finished at about 2. Oh, no, that was Tuesday--you were there Weds? Nevermind. Pretty nice shape, though, eh? It was damn muddy for about fifty feet, right after the park bench, but everything up to the loop was really nice. The loop looked pretty bad, and I didn't ride it, either.

we were there a bit after one. i rode there the day before on cx bike and did the loop. wasn't bad on that, but i didn't want to ride it with the big fatties. tear stuff up worse that way.

no riding for me until monday. but i can ride then, and tue-wed, and friday.
