    Getting Started

I'm just getting into single speed and was wondering what type of peddals people preffered? Platform? Clipless? Combination? What do you think?

    Thanks

from what I've seen on here, most SS riders have eggbeaters... maybe because it compliments the simplicity of the bike...

Crank Bros Candy SL's over here!
Time pedals have been good to me over the years, too.

I prefer clipless (specifically Speedplay Frogs) so I can pull up with my back leg on the upstroke.

I have personally used flats for four seasons and I am a better rider for it. I loved my Time ATACs in their day though.

.... is what I got on my SS. I'm a big fat wuss at times, and I like having the platform to unclip, but still have a decent platform for some grip.
