    Gearing dorks insight needed

I have a FSA K Force 29t crank that I have been using on my 1x9. That bike needs to go now that I don't ride it much and I really want to use that crank setup on my SS, I am running a 32-19 now.
The questions are; how will a smaller front ring effect climbing and acceleration? Secondly, what rear cog should I be running on the rear to be similar to the 32-19?

A pic to keep things interesting.

    32/19 = 1.6842
    29/17 = 1.705

    My suggestion would be 29/17
It will be a little harder to push this gear on climbs but you will have a little more gear on the downhills.

Sorry for the hijack, but what frame are you using on the bike in the picture? It looks very cool.

I use a 32/21. Way too easy to spin out, changing to a 36/21 hope i didn't jump to high in front
