    Gates system on Redline Monobelt

Just read a review of the Monobelt with photos. What got my attention was the way it's attached. Instead of the split rear triangle, there is an adapter that connects to the horizontal dropouts. I wonder if this could be used on any SS with similar dropouts. May be a way to try the Gates system on your favorite SS frame. Hopefully Gates is looking at offering this. Or maybe I'm just REALLY out of the loop and it's already available.

The seat stay is still split. No other way to get a belt through the rear triangle.

    From the Redline website:
FRAME Chromoly with slider style dropouts with a split lugged seat stay

    Darn.

Ok, thanks. From the picture (attached here) I can't see anything that is split so I guess that's where I missed something.

    Thanks.
