Just got the latest American Classic catalog in the mail. It features the new SS hubs. Look pretty sweet and not too $$$

Msrp is $239.95 for the non-disc and $249.95 for the disc version. Not cheap, but more attainable than King (for me at least). The catalog also shows a complete wheel option for both hubs with AC rims in 26" or 29" sizing. Nice to have another entry in SS specific goods!

    New question here.

It will be interesting to see how these hold up under the stresses of SS.
Their geared stuff has had it's fair share of issues.....

I paid $39.96 for a singlespeed cassette/disc hub from Nashbar...
    It's kinda heavy (649 grams with cog/spacers), but I spent $210 less.

    Hubs not available until April

I talked to American Classic and QBP. Both said these hubs won't be available until April. Looks like a light and inexpensive setup. I'm planning a Stans rim/AmClassic rear hub build as soon as these are available.
