Two things first, this isn't technically my first ss mtb, but its my first that isn't designed to be ridden in a skatepark, and I did search but couldn't find anything relevant.
I am looking for a bike to commute to uni and work, something simple and fast, I was thinking of a fixie, but want something more practical, so have started looking into ss mtbs.
What are peoples opinions on the charge duster ss as a decent entry level bike?
I have a few spare parts that I would be bolting straight on, including a thomson post, slr saddle, hope mono minis a pair of larsens and a set of xtr cranks, but will probaly just pick up some old middleburns instead.
Will also flip the stem and put on a set of ea70 flat bars.
Am I making the right move? Any tips or advice?
