First race on the new bike

Sunday was epic! Cold, wet, rocky, forgot my gloves, bike (and me) covered in mud, plenty'o single speeds out and awsome riding to be done!!!!! Here's a quick picture for the feel...

    Nice pic!

Nice pic, looks like spring riding in Maine!

Just curious, what gearing are you running?

    fork

Is that the WB 0.8 fork you got on there? How'd you like it? I've got one on order right now, just waiting.

Looks like it was a fun race. Are there any writeups of the event anywhere? or more photos?

    same here

The pink 1x1 made its racing debut on sunday at the decorah time trials in iowa and the conditions look IDENTICAL! Sorry, no pics, but obviously you can imagine.
For what its worth, I ran 2:1 with low psi, but i also ran at least a mile of the 11 mile course.

My family is from Rockland, the SnowBowl is prob. even worse than this picture-oh, the rocks are way sharper in PA, the same but not even close!
34-20....29" wheels, 36psi, no gloves, 2:56hrs, one sore butt on the drive home!

Eric is a very impressive rider. No gloves in that slop with all the rocks. Fantastic! It was nice to meet you Eric and thanks for kicking my a$$. This was my first race of the season and my first time at Michaux. Great race. I'd love to ride this course dry.

Here's another pic (taken before the heavy rain). I'm the 4th rider back.
