Today the lady and I hit the trails at OP Schnabel in San Antonio, tx. It's a fun trail with some technical single track, climbs, downhill and sharp turns. Makes for a fun day. I'm really happy with the singlespeed conversion. I went with 32/18 and love it. I think 20 would of gave me too much spinout. I had to get off my but and dig in for the hills but as long as I kept my pace, everything was good. Huffing and puffing till I got to the top and then coasting on the way down. Nice steady speed on the straight-aways. A little muddy today on some spots but it made it fun. The singlespeed held up great with no problems at all. Chain never came off once and it ran nice and quiet. I like how it pushed me harder. Here are a few pics. Sorry they are a little blurry for some reason.
