Fattiest rear tire on a Spot 1x1

What's the fattest rear tire anybody's using on their Spot? Needin' some new treads and I was looking at maybe a set of 2.4 Kenda Cortez or maybe some of the fat WTB's but I'm not sure I've got the clearance. Surly fork up front so no worries there (I thunk). Anybody runnin' something this big or bigger on theirs? I've got the only Spot I've ever seen in my area so fire away.

    Well....

I am currently using Ritchey 2.35 z-max milleniums on my spot, and used to use Hutchinson Mosquitos 2.34 when they were available. I don't think 2.4 will give you any trouble at all.....I'd bet you could put 2.5's in there....

Use the spec charts on my Tire Site to compare tires and estimate what may fit.
The Cotez 2.4 (and other Kendas) and many of the WTBs. More than 150 models are listed.

    I got....

a 2.4 Motoraptor on mine ok, wouldn't want to ride it in deep mud though.
I slid the wheel to the middle of the horiz. drops to help with the clearance some. Hey, there is yet another reason for horizontial drops over EBB...

I like the Nevegal 2.1 alot on the back. Rides like a much larger tire but still plenty of clearance.
