    Ebb

I recently had a single speed built up using a Raleigh XXIX frame and had great chain tension until i swapped tires last night. I dont have time to take it back to the shop to get this fixed so what is the best way to get the chain tight again. It is an EBB with a triple crank that has had the large and small rings removed.

    Thanks for the help

Loosen the set screws, rotate the EBB until chain tension is right, re-tighten set screws.

Why did changing tires alter your chain tension? It shouldn't have, unless you changed gearing.

Not trying to be a smart@$$ here but make sure to double check that the wheel is fully seated in the droupouts. As the previous poster noted you should have the same chain tension unless the gear was changed.

the gear wasnt changed, but it was ridden about 75-80 miles since it was first tightened so i guess the chain stretched?
