    double/double belt drive

Hey, thought you guys would like to see this. I finally got the double/double belt drive out on the trail. Has anyone else tried to outfit a bike with a double belt drive? I'd love to see images if anyone has done it. I'd also love to see double/double chain setups if anyone has done that. Paketa Cycles Blog

    Thanks,

Dumb question. How does the belt not slide off? It looks like neither of the sprockets have walls to hold it in

hi. it uses the center track belt and sprockets, so the flange is in the middle.

cool design, but the video isn't compelling. flopping your bike upside down on the bars and saddle is not an elegant way to do the gear change.

i do like the wide range in gear ratios. good explanation in the vid...riding to the trail. also, there is a road/commuter application to this setup.

not sure i could ever get used to the break in the frame to remove the belt.

i've never been on a belt drive. is the drivetrain silent?
