Does there yet exist an EBB for square taper cranks?

So, I've been out of the loop for the past couple years. The last I remember, the EBB for square taper cranks was just an e-balling, garage-machinist's promise.

    Did it ever happen?

Given that you'd have to squeeze an eccentric, bearings and spindle inside a normal threaded BB shell, I'd say no. The best option is White Industries eccentric rear hub.
    I see hills.

    I want to climb them.

Technically, any EBB other than the 2nd generation Niner EBB will work fine with a square taper bottom bracket. But I don't think that's what you meant. If you meant a combination EBB and bottom bracket to fit a standard frame and convert it to single speed, then Stevob has answered your question.
