    "Ding!"

    New SS as of June.

Laid it down this past weekend.

    Me...scraped, bloodied, bruised. Good stuff.

Downtube...ding, scratch. No good stuff. Sadness...then, huh.

    Won't be the last time.

Anyone else go through the stages.

    1) Oh cr@p....NOOOOOOO.
    2) Well, it's not that bad.
    3) Ok...well, won't be the last one.
    4) Badge of honor!!! YEAH!!!

useless post without pictures of either the bike, the scratch, or the carnage.

Im at the point now where I cant wait untill she has a few scratches. It proves that I ride the living **** out of my equipment. As a bike mechanic, nothing is cooler than working on a really nice bike thats beat to hell. When I look at a bike with scratches, dings, and gouges, it tells a story. Most of the shiny bike pictures in this forum are a COMPLETE bore. YAWN.

Wheres the dirt, the blood, the raw metal!?!?! Screw the rain. I need to ride.
