Did I mention it was free?

I did, but maybe no one noticed. WTF? I thought I'd get to pick the team from a cast of thousands. Bored of Laguna Seca, or what?

Anyone wanna ride 24hrs at Laguna Seca?

I think you intimidated them... Maybe if you included pictures of pink kitties you'd get more response.

I do not deserve a spot on your team..

Because I won't show up... The 1300 mile round-trip for a weekend is a bit long of a drive..

    Come on now

I've made that hellish trip twice for Barbie Camp and Bend riding. If you come, Shiggy'll come too, I'm pretty sure.

    Maybe this will help:

lesseee.. at 17 mpg.. Works out to about 80 gallons more or less.. At 2.25/gal.... $180 or so.. not as bad as I was thinking.. Don's car gets better mileage though.. I'd be perfectly willing to take a couple days off (friday/monday) and ride a 24hr event if Don would split the gas and driving.. 10 hours isn't so bad with 2 drivers... Noah and I drove from Fruita back to Corvallis in 1 shot... About 20 hours or so.

    Anyways.. My ahem.. resume:
    2002 Cascade Creampuff - 14:05
    2003 24hrs of the old pueblo -- 8 laps.. ~136 miles
2003 Cascade Creampuff - DNF after about 80 miles.

2004 - I'm fat and slow, I will not ride in the creampuff. My geared bke is broken, the rigid fork on my SS died so it's got a crappy Manitou SX-R on it...

    Yes!

We've already got Impy (we rode with her at Demo), but it would be great if you could join us as well. It will be a load of fun. I did my first 24 hours last year at Hurkey Creek (Riverside Co, near Hemet), and I'm hooked.

Click on my handle and send me an email. I'll add you to the list.

    Somewhat non-committal.

We need to submit the names pretty soon. You can be on the reserve list, ok? Even if you don't race, it's great to attend. Ask slowSSer.
