    Dawes Deadeye frame weight

    In case anyone would want to know, I weighed a 19 Dawes Deadeye frame this morning.

    7lbs, 10oz
    Former bicycle mechanic for 8 years, current soil scientist.

    Is that without the fork? If so, how much was the fork? My brother is looking at the Bullseye, just curious, so I can let him know that he will get a lot for his money.

    What do you want for 400 bucks delivered?
    (Actually less for the old deadeye when new!)

    I wasn't complaining, but still that is well above what many sub $400 bike frames weigh. But oversized strait gauge steel is going to weigh a lot. It is perfect for the 300# Clydesdale though as I don't think it will have any failure issues

    And yes, that was FRAME ONLY
