cyclone makes cheap cranks usually used as OEM on bikes. They're generally lower price than anything shimano offers at the bottom of the range.

My Bianchi came with Cyclone cranks. They're nothing special but they work just fine. Probably boat anchors, though I haven't pulled mine off to check. If I were going to spend actual money on cranks I'd spend a couple bucks more and get something better (i.e., lighter).

    Are you talking....

Shimano, or Suntour? Suntour Cyclone was a fairly nice road gruppo from the early 80s. If I remember correctly, it was second in their lineup after Superbe, the racing gruppo. There is a NOS chainset on ebay right now, likely to go cheap.

The Cyclones have a pretty wide Q-factor, but otherwise are okay for the money. Decently stiff, pretty heavy, cheap.
    Convince me
