    Crankset for SISS

I'm building a bike starting with a bianchi SISS frame. The stock bike came with 175mm cranks and 32t chainwheel, but I'm thinking of a larger chainwheel (38 or 40) and maybe even longer cranks. Any thoughts? I'll be riding exclusively in the city.
    thanks

I ride a SISS with a 38/16 for the winter for on road antics and works well - depends on the hills in your town. I only found a 33T ring for the Truvativ cranks, but you will need a 110mm bolt center diamemeter (BCD) for rings of 38T and above. I use an old XTR 952 with a 5 leg spider 110 BCD with Salsa rings from Bikeman ($23-ish). You can use an XTR spider ($70 or so) or use a non Shimano one (around $30).
