    Go 32. Negligible weight difference, but stronger and easier to build.

    I second the arch. Or even a flow if you are 200 ish geared up. The WTB KOM i23 looks to be a killer rim as well.

    besides weight between the arch and the flow what would that width difference (and other differences) do for me? I am aware ill have greater tire contact and control on the descents but what about climbing? is there a downside to width which would explain why xc rims are usually narrower?
