    Chainring bolts for SLX Crankset

I've ordered a SLX crankset that I will run with a Niner 32T chainring - can I used the chainring bolts that come with the crankset or witll I need SS specific bolts?

You will need shorter bolts if you take off the other chain rings .Tou could put on a bash guard in place of the the chain ringand use the same bolts. SS specific not needed.

If you get new bolts, be sure to get steel--not aluminum.

But, I like to hear my cranks writhe in pain just before nutting myself six ****ing feet before cresting an up because a gearie decided to grab eight more teeth.
