    New question here. Bushnell EBB

Just picked up a new frame using EBB. Previously used sliders. Quick question before I go digging? Can you swap the bolt from right (drive side) to the left side of the bottom bracket? It's a pain to get at it from the right side because of the crankarm. The left would be easier. I noticed you can flip the entire unit but that won't work in my case. I use SLX cranks and the cups cannot be swapped. The right cup needs to go with the right crank arm.

First impression. EBB sucks and i want to go back to sliders. Am I right.

The bolt IS on the non-drive side if fitted correctly.. at least it is on my bike and the other Bushnell EBB bikes I've seen. Maybe yours has the wedge reversed somehow?

The Bushnell's great, many EBBs do suck but not this one )

bought the frame/EBB second hand. not sure what it's supposed to be but thats the way it came. So if the bolt is on the right/drive side now but should be on the left/nondrive I'll guess it can be swapped.

I had more problems with sliders than my bushnell ebb. My Lynskey with sliders loosened up a couple times and was more of a pain to adjust than the ebb. The bolts on my sliders came a little stripped out from Lynskey which didn't help me to get them nice and tight. Never had an issue or noise with the ebb and it looks so much cleaner.

Bushnell's like other tensioning systems are hit or miss. Mine kept slipping and creaking. Same with a Carver. Tried multiple cures. Odds are, you will not have problems. Best tensioning system to date - Ventana.
