Cool-blue Rhythm Any Scandium/Ultralite Alu SS frames?

Looking for an ultralight frame. Well, at least >3lbs.
Anyone know of any Scandium frames that are SS? OR maybe some that have removable dropouts so that I could add horizontal ones?
Maybe even steel for that matter, Ultra Foco is that the lightest?
    Does it dent real easy?

I would actually prefer a scandium frame with removable drop outs (just in case).

Let me know what you guys know!
    THANKS.

... and if we just ...

Perfect! Though, what a horrid paint job.

There aren't any bizarre issues with stripping/repainting scandium are there?

    Thanks!

bianchi's easton aluminum frames are very light and very cheap. and very stiff, which can be good or bad. i have never weighed my CUSS frame, but a riding buddy got his size 17.5 CUSS down to about 20 pounds, with a marathon fork, if i remember correctly. light, but not stupid light build. he routinely did 3 foot drops.

if you wanted ultra foco and custom ...

    ... check out www.truenorthcycles.com

i don't know how to make that a link.

hugh is a good guy, and made my wife's road frame (also ultra foco). they're not cheap, but they're very very nice ~$1600 canadian?

i know he also usually has some not-custom reynolds 853 ss frames built up and ready to go.

'course, he is in southern ontario - but i'm pretty sure he ships stuff. nicest xc frames i've ever come across.

Definitely, and probably cheap enough too. I do like that matte black look. Now, where can I find it as a frame only? Selling yours?

    Thanks.

It will be a commuter, and don't want STEAL ME writen all over it.
    Thx.

I have 2 DISS frames, but neither for sale....

I got 1 of them on ebay for $265.00 new... as in never used... no scratches

for anti-theft commuter, u could adapt a coaster brake...

    for V-brakes, u will need to look for a BuSS(brown) or CuSS(celeste)...

    Check with "The Path" 714-669-0784
