    Alex rims

    I recently pu An Alex flip flop rim that's missing the axle nuts local bike shop can't fnd anything to fit is there somewhere to get replacement apparently they're not the usual thread pitch

    it should be 3/8" x 26 tpi or 10mm x 1.

    and to avoid future confusion- rims do not have axle nuts. a rim is the outer hoop on which you mount the tire. the inside part is the hub, which holds the axle. the whole assembly is called a wheel, so what you bought is a wheel, not just a rim.

    If that's the case then.the bike shop would have had replacement nuts and the brand name is Alex rims !! I know the parts of a wheel thank you

    Is there a model number written on the rim? Check the Alex website maybe they have information about it posted there.

    Do you know what brand the hubs are?

    There's no name on the hub the manufacture is Alex rims and the wheel is, brand new never been mounted . Ive been.to the Web site and cannot find anything about replacement parts . But I did go to a second bike shop and they took some off a display rim for me . So I found some and thanks for help (those of you that helped and wheren't trying to be an ass ) so my.project fixie is back on track
