The "absolutely unnecessary, totally nerdy" ti tool o' the day

For those of you that still use track bolts, here's the Paragon Machine Works 20th anniversary bolt wrench and bottle opener. Lighter, cheaper, and flatter than a Surly Jethro Tule. Yup, made of titanium, and costs ~$19 (before s/h). Call 'em direct for that sweet x-mas present to yerself

    In action:

    I have a Tule but

    I like it!
And after looking at the picture again...
Hmm... your nails seem very well dressed/trimmed.

Sweet! Me too. I'm checking with the LBS to see if they can make a buck off the deal....rather buy thru them if not too much $$. That sure looks better/lighter than the crescent wrench I've been hauling around.

    Is there a similar too...

like that, which would bolt onto water bottle bosses? I've seen a custom one made, but wondering if there's a cheaper option.

i have a jethro t and the bottle opener is weak. maybe i'm too drunk to use it right. the opener on this gizmo looks more drunk friendly.

    Just as a side note....

I tried to order one today w/cc over the phone and they wanted a $10 cc service fee for orders under 100 bones. Sending a check will get around that $10 fee. FWIW....

i agree, a waterbottle mount for this tool would be ideal!

There's one on fixedgeargallery that had a custom tool mounted on the water bottle braze on. I forget which one though.

BTW, year is your bus? I used to have a '62 Cal look bug. Me and my buddies still dream of having a clean 23 window built up. No time for the garage though. Maybe the microbus will someday come.
