    2009 Mongoose Sabrosa SS for $317 shipped!! Can't wait to get it! Anyone else here have this bike?

    lol, i hope thats not the same one walmart has for 199.... i woulda just got that and converted to SS.........

    That looks like a pretty good deal. Be glad you didn't purchase it from Harbor Country Bike where they're asking $549 ("You save $50!")

    It's billed as a commuter so you may find there's not a lot of tire clearance for fat meats and the gearing may be a bit high for trail work but I sure like the stainless steel thermos it comes with.

    Mongoose doesn't even reference that model anywhere on their website. Probably made to Walmart's specs (read: as cheaply as possible). Good luck with it.

    I'm planning to use this bike strictly on-road so no fat meats for me. It comes with 700x47 tires on it (1.85" wide). If I did want to go that route I figure I could probably fit a 2.1" tire on there.

    The Thermos is quite cheesy.
