I might come down...

Hi all, I missed out on the SSWC lottery so I already have a trip slotted for late summer. I am from the midwest (chicago area) and am thinking of coming down. What is the course like, terrain, climbs? What gearing do most people use? I have never ridden in the South and it looks like this would be a great place to do it.

Thanks

I run a 32x18 at this course. This course is very sandy. Its a blast though. There is one section on this course with a steep climb. Its pretty short though. The trail is perfect for a single speed. The location is good cause its right of I-16. Macon, GA has some cool history too (Otis Redding, Allman Brothers, Little Richard, some cool historic neighborhoods and soul food.) I really encourage out of state folks to come. The more people, the better!!
