    $$$$weight forks money rigid$$$$

I'm riding a ss hammer 29 that weighs 27 pounds due to a sun tour xcr. I'm becoming more concerned about weight and will be purchasing stem, bars, fork soon (like tomorrow). I rode rigid for 8 miles of my last ride and determined I love it( first time). I live in Houston and am running two swork renegades. the main question is should I lose the weight and get a niner carbon or get a Reba? I do work at a shop so both would be around the same price. should I be less concerned about weight? the xcr is 5 pounds! any discussion helps

no, the question is do you want a rigid or do you want suspension?

there is no perfect tool for every job

personally, I'd go rigid. Lighter, less maintenance, more trail cred when you're flying past the squishers
