FWIW, it is always best to store the forks with loosened pinch bolts if your fork uses them.
We have no real winter here in South Florida, but do store the tandem between rides with the 20 mm axle pinch bolts backed off to zero, and retighten for each ride.
Over the years I have seen pinch bolts, both in the triple clamps (crowns) and at the axle crack. Obviously this could be from overtorqueing, but releaseing the strain will minimize the problems.
FWIW, I have also seen stem pinch bolts crack the stem and I suppose it may not hurt for the seatposts and collars.
10 minutes when the bike is put back in use they can all be retorqued, or if lazy, back them all off say 2 or 3 turns.
Just a thought and you can use it as you see appropriate.
