I have seen more than one post from Blue Pig owners similar frames gush about the bike's technical climbing ability (rocky, rooty, steps, steep). I posted a question in the AM forum about geometries with slack HA/steep seat tube and ability to technical climb and got beat down.
Can someone with a blue pig or 456evo with this style of geometry comment on technical climbing ability?
My goal is an aggressive XC hardtail. I currently have an oldschool custom with very steep HA, and Iron Horse Azure XC dually with 70.5HA. I want to try the new school geometries with a slacker HA. There will be lots of pedaling in roots, and short climbs. I've found that I always have my saddle pushed forward on the rails so like the idea of steep seat tube angles.
