I own them and no longer use them. From my experience and from what I've read, use them for recovery or if you take a long plane ride after a big race. No need to wear them when exercising (for most people) because the calf muscles flexing provide enough pressure to do what the compression socks do.
And how much a day are you using it? Do you wear them 1hr a day, 2hrs, whole day, sleep with them etc?Is it possible to wear them too much, that they can cause damage or contraeffect?
They work for bed ridden patients with circulation problems (DVT or blood clots)... in my practice they are called TED stockings
