My rear brake was feeling mushy, so I threw the bike in the stand for a quick brake bleed. When I pulled the EBT screw out of the master cylinder I noticed some "material" had come out along with the screw. I attempted to bleed the brakes with several different methods, and I could not get any pressure to the caliper. I believe the MC is introducing air into the system with every lever pull. When I tried to put the EBT screw back in it would not tighten (clearly stripped out) I assume the MC, or the lever assembly, needs to be replaced. Any other thoughts? Anybody have a magnesium MC assembly laying around they would like to part with?
