I just got a new Tallboy TLc and it has XTR brakes. I would like to unloosen the bolt that comes out of the caliper so I can tuck the hose closer to the frame. Can this be done without a problem? And do I need to retorque the bolt? Any advice is appreciated
If you haven't touched it yet, a good way to deal with specifically torqued components is to just loosen it a quarter/half turn until you can move it, then re-tighten the same amount. This tech doc from shimano says between 5-7Nm.
Bro that is exactly what I was looking for! Thank you so much.
