Looking for input from anyone who has ridden the 2011 Nail Trail 29er. I'm looking at it as a 2nd 29er (first being a FS). Does anyone know if the frame is designed to give a little rear vertical flex? I'm comparing it to a 2011 Scott Scale 29er Elite and was wondering how that bike rides as well. Thanks!
the scott scale29 elite is a great bike. being that your looking at the alum. version, your gonna get a bike will have a good mix of stiffness and verticle flex. the scotts dropouts and chainstays are specifically designed for what your looking for. i have the pro model and it is a great model. the geometry is spot on for the racer/weekend warrior on the scale. if you havent boughten anything yet then get the 2012 elite. the price and what you get for it is perfect
