Just wanted to report my experience mounting the AKA TNT on Flows.

While not the exercise in futility that mounting the Saguro TNT on Flows they are still quite difficult. Took me about 20 minutes where a Captain takes about 1. Really hope they stretch a little because I can see an issue if I have to work on them trail side. Hope I like this tire. I really don't think I'll buy another TNT tire if I am going to mount them on Flows.

Tire weighed 754 grams and measured 55.4 mm at the carcass aired up to 38lbs.

I just ordered some AKA TNTs and was shipped folding bead tubetype tires. I've been waiting on tires for a while and have heard that Geax tubetype tires are pretty tubeless friendly, so I figured I'd try it. The sidewalls on the folding bead tubetype tires are tough as hell and they set up tubeless no problem with no seeping or loss of pressure. You might try a tubetype Geax tire next time.

Seems to be a common complaint with the Geax TNT stuff and Flows, anyone ever try them on Bontrager stuff, how'd that go? Just can't forget trying to get some Bonti 26" TLR tyres off they're TLR rims a few years back  Took several tyre levers and a couple adults - un frikin believable.

I gave up on the them, just miserable to mount on my Bontrager RXL 29ers. I was afraid of getting a flat out on the trail and not being able to remount them. Once on they worked great tubeless.

Nightmare

Shocking on Flows and they dont stretch for second / third or forth times. Had lots of luck with Geax tubed tyres but problem is that they do stretch - alot so getting them to seal down the track - nightmare. Have gone with Specialised for TNT/2 Bliss - easy.
I could just set and forget but that is too easy and takes the constant fiddling out of the equation - rubber fiddler at heart.
