In a dilemma right now, currently in a Hope Pro 2 with Flow rims and DT spokes currently weighing in the 1.88 Kg range. I would like a bling, light and a true blooded UST wheelset (not those which needs to use conversion strips ) . I need a front 20mm T/A wheels and a QR rear.
here's my take:
Easton Haven- pretty hubs, pretty rims , cheapest of the three but heaviest of the three (claimed weight: 1685g) Dont know how reliable are they...
Red Metal XL1-more reliable hubs than the Mavic. Bigger spoke diameter than the Haven. Same price as the Mavic Crossmax ST. The decals are stick-on, why cant they laser print it like the Mavic Crossmax ST. Middle weight (1650g)
Mavic Crossmax ST- Lightest of the three (1615g). Unreliable freewheel.
any other inputs to convince me which is the better wheelset?
