I installed my new Tech X2s on my Fuel EX8 today and got everything aligned beautifully. Calipers are dead center, pad contact is perfect, everything is super sweet until I actually sit on the bike and the rear suspension sags. All of a sudden the rear rotor rubs on the pads. If I shift my weight forward on the bike as I pedal, it goes away. It only does it when there is weight on the rear and the suspension is sagged.
Has anyone had this happen before? No amount of realigning helps this. Well, almost. I did get it to stop once, but then the caliper was in a position that made the pad contact uneven when I pull the brake lever.
I also tried to put 1mm washers between the caliper and the IS adapter, thinking that the slightly raised position would help. Nothing. :madman:
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
