I ordered a set from them and received it yesterday. Also added the SRAM matchmaker and blue rotors. Beautiful breakes. Haven't mounted them yet, but no issues here.
seems like an obvious choice to buy the 09's first they are the same brake second you get them for a good amount cheaper and last YOU ARENT BUYING THEM ON EBAY!
This is a valid ebay seller. I just received a set of 2010 Hope Tech M4 brakes with one-piece rotors that I bought from OrionCycles (ebay). They configured them exactly as I wanted; 183mm front post mount and 160 rear, and also gave a welcome discount for the rotors. I could not be happier with this purchase.
By the way, the total cost was over $100 cheaper than Universal Cycles. Don't get me wrong, I buy stuff from U.C. every now and then, just not these.
The $338 from UC is the cheapest I've seen for a seller who actually has what I need in stock and ready to go. Even the UK retailers (wiggle and CRC) don't actually have much in stock.
I'm just more comfortable buying from a legit site like UC than an eBay seller, personally.
You're kidding, right? Newer product is typically better than older stuff. Refined after making them for a year. Who really cares about about the graphics, these things are industrial ugly anyway. If you want sexy good looks, get some Formula brakes. Hey they're Italian, they look great and work very well too.

You're kidding right?Hope Tech brakes are the one of the best looking Brakes made!Formula levers are Fugly, and flimsy looking and generally the brakes are as reliable as most things Italian(ie not very)
I e-mailed Orion once to purchase a Swiss ratchet upgrade they were selling here on the MTBR classifieds. Took them six days to respond and then didn't answer my question. I decided to pass on those guys.
The order I placed yesterday with UC is down the tubes, too. Their site showed stock of the '09 X2 and I placed the order. They called today to tell me there was no stock. Ah, well, at least they called to let me know.
Order a set from Orion Cycles on ebay. You don't earn almost 1500 positives with a feedback score of 100 percent by being a bum. They take a few days to answer messages but come through in the end.
I bought mine for more. But I also ordered spare parts when purchasing my X2's. Spare 2olives, 2 diaphrams, 1 res. cover, 1 bleed screw, 2 bleeder screw covers, and I went with ss line.
I get a message from Orion Cycles correcting me in my assessment of the time it took to respond to my query some months. The gentleman evidently has a record of messages that is much better than mine. Anyway, I stand corrected and it took the company two days to respond. My apologies.

mmmmmmmmmmm hope, ohh come on formula ya ok they do good systems but hope do them right everytime, think its the saying if it ant broke dont fix it, thus being the design works dont touch it ,the only downside on hope is the colour, why show off different colours or carbon bits but dont make them, they dont do calipers in different colours.magura do them formula do. but come on hope get with the times.....

it's a turn off to me to have to use a syringe to bleed my brakes. hope bleed tool free and have great modulation and power. that parts subjective but the tool free part is a fact
formulas arent that much more expensive? now i know your not talking about "the one" or
"r1" they are crazy expensive! now if your talking about the k24, ok but i think those are lower on the totem pole, and not being made anymore, im not sure...
