Sswc '09

The beast (my son Casey) and I hiked up raiders to catch some of the SSWC'09 craziness. you can judge by the photos, we did not disappoint.

P.S. sorry no photos of the streaker (x2) at the b-ball game at Ska. It's hard to shoot photos while having you're naked as$ slapped by crazies.

The spotter plane.

Some of the forerunners...........

Epic costume steeze action. (Don't be fooled. Theses guys ruled, the folks in costume were riding harder than everyone else.)

Random action..........seriousy these guys and gals were riding sh!t on rigid singles that I can't ride on my Spot.

The only trailside carnage I whitnessed during the race. (I hastily knelt down into a wicked cactus scene).

Hope you enjoyed the photos. Here's a link to the whole set.

After the first handfull of riders passed we started heading down the trail. I had to pick BigLaker up from the airport at 2.
You guys should have been at Ska last night. What a fun time.

Hey BGB, I want to use your photos in a blog article here on mtbr. Is that cool?

What's the link to the gallery? The one you posted above only links to one photo.

thanks,
fc

From the racers perspective. Well at least from the start and finish. I was having to much fun during the single track sections for pics.

Awesomeness. I, unfortunately, was too slow by about 3 people to get into your photospread.

Check out today's bikesnob. Good writeup.
