wow, I think you just came quite close to blasting the gloryDH out of the water for a value DH bike. well done

edit: you should also allow the option of the red boxxer on the white frame. that red fork looks WAY too good with that frame/paint to not allow it...

do you have a f/1.2 lens for the last pic or is that a photoshop blur?

btw... nice price. I paid more than that for my Socom frame, Fox 40, and I9 wheels 2 years ago.

I agree.
White or black Boxxer would look better.

The demo van was here on Monday and the 951 wowed several people. Yesterday I was at the shop and they were trying to figure out which organs they'd have to sell. This complete changes the game a little.

I suppose so. most of the time I would agree, that's a hideous fork. on the white/red frame, I think it looks really good though. pretty much only that frame and paint though.

personally, I'd go with green/black anyway

Hello Everyone

i asked my local dealer for a order of a complete 951, but wanted a more detailed partlist.
Could anyone confirm, that the kit can also be ordered with a red Team instead of the black ? This is what my local delaer said he thought he heard at the phone

Thanks for your help ..its allways hard to get the decent informations over here in Switzerland

Greetings D.

Dear Mr. Intense,

I sent a mail to your general info (intenseinfo@intensecycles.com) to ask your opinion on how to set-up the 951 according to two types of riding conditions.
1) Technical & gnarly trails
2) High speed with lots of jumps

But sadly, there was no reply at all.

Really pissed off that you can't even answer a simple question like this....What sort of service is your company offering ?????

Ha ha ha ha......!? WTF?

Way to get ahead in life, just blow up at the first hurdle!!

If everyone who bought a PC demanded advice direct from Bill Gates, he wouldn't get much work done now would he. Chill out and wait for a reply in due course, cursing will get you no-where.

When i used to work in a bike shop, customers who got shitty, got ignored.

Customers who were patient, and understood we were busy, got the best service we could offer!!!

if you don`t know how to use a 8.5inch travel bike get yourself a bigwheel.
beeing polite is the key not to be ignored!

i run a ss for gnarly trails, so let me give it a thougt

the 951 is going to be a light racing machine i guess

What a fVcktard!!! Was your e-mail worded similar to your post? If so I would ignore you.

Did you ever think maybe your e-mail got caught in a spam filter? Did you ever think that Jeff may NOT read all of the e-mail that comes through? Or any of it for that matter (he CAN'T do everything to run the company-that is why he has other employees)?
Did you ever think to be ask less vague questions and give some more specific details as to exactly what you are looking to accomplish?

Did you ever think if you didn't post like a whiny ***** maybe you would get a more postive response and maybe some one would help you here?

My advise would be for you to call a dealer. Although Jeff Steber as the owner of Intense does on occasion post here with pictures, information, measurements and opinions, anything we get from him should be looked at as a bonus. We should feel privledged and excited when we can hear from Jeff himself, not entitled to personalized emails from him or advise that most of his 100's of dealers could give.

To help you out, go to: http://www.intensecycles.com/ click on the dealer link. Find your country, state, or otherwise, and get on the phone or email a dealer that you trust. You are going to have to go through a dealer to buy one anyway, you might as well build a relationship with one now. Telling someone you are pissed they didn't respond in a timely manner is the quickest way to get ignored even further. Demanding unrealistic expectations will be the quickest way to getting disappointed.
