Good job! Monster Energy Slopestyle @ Kokanee Crankworx 2008

Just finished watching the Slopestyle, awesome day....

After the first run of the final 8, Andreu Lacondeguy was 8th....

So he went first on the 2nd run, pulled out a double back flip on the first jump, cleaned it, scored 94....... No one came close really...

Sorting pictures now....

First up, the winner, Andreu Lacondeguy...

No problem, thanks for your feedback....

Yep the tactics that the Spanish dude laid down screwed up many people it seems, first to ride the 2nd run, and throw down a double double backflip on the first jump, really set the president for the remaining competitors.....

Was a great day, fhocken hot to.....

Yeah nice pics whafe, great action shots that really convey what was happening and the atmosphere looks electric.

Good to see some people with the burgers to use a GReign there...

Wow.....phocking amazing shots, Whafe. There's a whole bunch of gems in there.

A good night for sure. Lance McDermott's run was pretty dang close, IMO. Doing a front flip on the stepdown and sticking a back flip onto and front flip off of the Kokanee box was pretty f'ing amazing. Regardless, Andreu's run was solid the entire way down and the double back sealed it for him.

Cheers,
EB

Thanks airwreck, am at the airport at Vancouver, another Whistler trip down.... Had a great week, met and got to hang with some great people....

Only a few bruises, scratches and either broken or badly bruised ribs, so the joy of sneezing, laughing is with me...... Not to worry, got a load of riding in.....

Great pics. Every post from Whistler has made me feel the need to miss the first few days of school and get to Canada to ride.

Not to spark racial debate, but flat-billed hats look much better non-white people. Those pictures make me feel more awkward than seeing Snoop Dogg in Crocs.

Agreed. Think Lance's run had more flow and style overall. I would have liked to see him win.

Kind of agree.... But Andrue really deals out the power moves.... And I think it was a real tactic to throw down a double backflip on the first jump of the 2nd round of runs.....

Lance did flow though, especially the backflip straight onto a forward flip.... Sensational...
