Awesome pics Whafe! Jeesh, I was too focused on drinking beer by this point to get that many good shots......as you can see in this pic.

The Garbo DH race in the muck was an eye opener for sure to my marginal DH skills, but it sure was fun!

saw you in one of the pics, and I saw your result! not bad! Lots of fast times in that one.

the winners were only a bit faster then last year in far sketchier conditions!

Nice pics, I don't think I have ever seen that many photos of or on Monkey Hands. I like the varying perspectives, too, some of them make it look alot steeper than I think of it being when I'm on it. Sketchy off-camber slope traverses FTW!

Hey Flip......

You started right in front of Whafe (small world eh) and I got a shot of you, but it was super blurry, so I deleted it. Sorry man.

You doing the A Line race tomorrow?

EB

heh heh, that's pretty funny! no worries about the pic! not racing anything else, although I'm still back and forth on the open.....longer stuff is definitely more up my alley though! we did race the open course last week for our phat wed, and it's super fun, so kinda tempted, but I'll probably just shoot pics instead and drink beer!

If you look closer it looks like a stanchion extension was bolted on (thicker stanchions near the lower crown).. Weird

Looks like an old Sherman Firefly or whatever the name was that was a 32mm hucking artifact. But yeah, looks longer than usual.

Give the dude some decent brakes for god's sake.

It's a 203 Travis converted to 180mm travel. Runs an 09 air backed Intrinsic cartridge. Quite short actually but Chris hit a g-out in that image and his fork is fully extended. He runs chromag flat bars and Hayes Stroker brakes.
