I just love that hand carved stone motifs. There simply is nothing in scope today that compares to the effort put forth in the past. Well, maybe crazy horse.

Thank you Anthony. Absolutely stunning images. Thought I'd hit the wrong button and ended up on National Geographic.

Lots of views to stir the senses, but this is my fav. The sense of joy is well-captured.

Hey, if you run into a couple Americans named Kristi and Dennis, tell them Ben says "Hi". They're in Cambodia right now, though I'm not sure where.
Did you go to the Genocide Museum? K and D blogged about that place, and I've read other reports... I get overwhelmed just second hand.
Beautiful pictures, thanks for sharing.

It looks like the post-ride chill-out session from an E-P ride!

[quote=anthonys]I'm waiting for a ride to go meet up witht he kids from the Orphanage. The other day in Siem Reap I discovered that one of the computers in the lobby had CS2 on it, so here is an absolutely random sampler platter. Images selected at random from the thousands I've snapped over the last week or so.
Thanks, for the nice pics. Personally, I'm not sure about the skulls one - Kind of sad and scary to see them. However, I like the girls jumping rope pic the best.
I like the sunset pic, too. Have you climbed up to one of the temples (I forgot the name) to see the sunset?
My hubby and I spent 2 days in Siem Reap, about a year ago, just to see the incredible Angkor Wat, after 8 days of traveling from North to South Vietnam for a conference. Too much to see for a such short time. However, it was a great trip for us. we wouldn't mind to go back there again for a "cross-country" biking tour.
BTW, may I add some of my pics? I don't think my pics are that good. Yours are much better. I think you're a great photographer.
We had to climb up to the top of this temple to see the sunset...
The young and the old. This girl was about 4 yo who helped her family to sell post cards.
These two old ladies went for the service (every week) at one of the temples (they looked old, but were only 60 yo, as I was told by our tour guide). They were saying "thank you" with their hands.
The Traditional Cambodian Wedding...
Thanks, Anthonys, again for the pics and for letting me share some of mine
Tammy

Nice photos as well. I did climb up to Phnom Bakheng for the sunset. (Thats where the above sunset was taken) It was great, despite the crowds.
The skulls are scary and sad, and more. Not only in and of themselves, but for what they represent.
More pics soon...well, maybe soon. I'm sifting through the thousands.
