Further reports from the land of enchantment.

So after a couple of successful demos and some pavement pounding and kool-aid serving, we snuck in a ride out at White Mesa. This is a new trail in an area I have driven through countless times. I made some queries about thr trail conditions and grabbed the stabbin' sword out of the back of the truck, a carbon AS-R. The bike was perfect for the trail, the light was perfect. All in all a fantastic late afternoon product testing session.

Where's Waldo?

Enchantee, enchantee. If'n you are ever busting up through New Mexico, hell bent for DGO or Moab, do yourself a favor and hop off the highway and take a little spin.

It's not always this nice. Look at all those clouds building in the lower left of that last photo (towards Santa Fe).

Oh, that's right, there's a controlled burn in the Jemez.

Nevermind.

Must be great having the quiver full so you can pull out the right arrow for the job at hand. Beautiful looking trail and (of course) stellar pics. Thanks.

Did you take any picures of the insane colored dirt and geological intrest point (anti-cline??) just to the east of the main route? Or the Sulfur spring?

But please remember, in spite of BIKE mag's recent endorsement of NM....there is no reason to waste any time in the state of NM.

Pretty sure all was the same last time we rode WM bro, maybe you just need a refresher course.

Maybe because the trail looks like it's three inches deep now from heavy use. I could use a refresher.

Nice. I really, really feel bad for you suffering through another day dragging demo Yetis across America when you could be sitting in a cube like the rest of us.
