On the Road Again....

So seeing as how it is October and all, I decided to drag the circus westwards to Moab and the greater Moab Metroplex. Sure, there as some sort of 24 hours of boredom going on, but we figured we'd set up some demos on depopulated trails.

But speaking of trails, it all starts with a rabbit trail. I'd been wanting to investigate reports of aspen art up the West Fork of the Dolores River in Southwestern Coloraddy. I'm no particular advocate of carving up an otherwise perfectly decent tree, but this particlar vandalism edges into art a bit. About 50 or so years ago there were a bunch of Basque shephards up in the area that bided their time by carving into trees.

Nice enough, though be careful if the muse strikes you. The forest has eyes of its own...

Idyllic, satisfying, and much more. A lovely peek into late fall. But now it is time to ride...

Beautiful pics, Anthony!

When are you guys going to update the Yeti Demo tour page so we can quit our jobs and follow you around like The Dead for first-hand knowledge of your adventures?

Nice shots. There is a lot of tree art in the upper Chama River basin too. Mostly naked women provocatively drawn around old knot holes.
