The Action Pics Thread ...Post 'Em Up!

None of those namby pamby shiny bike in your kitchen shots. I want to see down and dirty and big and hairy (XC shots with epic views are encouraged). The bike porn equivalent of scheisse vids.

You already saw this one...

Then there' s Barb...

Over a hundred days and counting on my Delerium T this summer. It's quite a bike.....

While I wholeheartedly endorse the idea of this thread and look forward to the pics it will bring, I am sure it will do nothing but further the amount of drool flowing from my mouth over Noel's frames. Oh yeah, it may end up hurting my wallet too.

Wow - very close! It's actually the upper section (first) of the two.

I almost lost some fingers last summer playing this game with Harley. She is very - um - indiscriminate about where she bites the stick!

Noel

When you look down that first pitch it doesn't look nearly that smooth, as with any picture it's all about the angle. Love that line, Dales rock face and that line make that route worth the ride.

I remember Barb warning me at a trail day early last season just as I was about to pick up the stick to play fetch with Harley. Best move is to push Harley back with a foot just as you reach in to snatch the stick, or just pick a new stick each throw.

It seems like the season has flashed by in a second and I have nothing but my memories as testament to my best year of riding ever. After being out the country for two years, I got back in April, desperate to make up for all the riding time I had lost out on and in desperate need of a bike. I was introduced to Noel and my V-Tach and the season is a blur of speed and adrenalin.

I had to email a friend to get this photo off him...but wait...it looks like this weekend is going to be awesome and I am definitely taking my camera!

that same day...this dude just came ripping down the trail...said "Hi" (with a Canadian accent), gave us a big cheezy grin...and disapeared! He was riding a Knolly also!

While working on the local trails, some "random" Knolly rider blazed through an unfinished stunt.

I had to change the line when I saw how far he was clearing the tranny.

It sure is......

Man, when are you going to get to the point where you CAN'T recognize whose got one of your bikes from a blurry pic on the web?

Oh, and get off yer ass and come riding this weekend. Don't make me come down there.

LOL - that's defintiely starting to be an issue.

However, white V-tachs in large are pretty rare and I think I still know MOST of the people who own them. The 66 RC2X and the white helmet, combined with Caskey's "Fast as possible racer style position" on the bike were give aways (not to mention the lack of elbow pads!). Though I did have to think for 30 seconds or so to figure out who it was!

Ya, trying to find the time to come visit. I told Laurence that there is wine close by and we're trying to figure out how to combine the two How far away is Quail's Gate from you?

Quails Gate? About 6 minutes if you time the lights right.

Also Boucherie and Mission Hill are right here..

There's roughly 80 or 90 wineries within 90 minutes of here now.

Some trails end at wineries (Hillside in Penticton, the Golden Mile in Oliver, and Orofinon in Cawston).

The Okanagan Valley. I live in a small city called Westbank, which has seriously kickass riding. There's also Kelowna (overhyped traffic hell) and a bunch of other pretty little towns like Penticton, Oliver, Vernon, and Summerland. All thos pics I've been posting are from this zone.

Click the link in my sig to see thousands of shots from here.

Ffull on April through November. December and March are limited, and mid-winter the local skiing is so good why bother riding?

How are you liking the Endorphin for the Santa Monicas?
What bike did you have before?

It's awesome! Had a break-thru ride on Saturday at Backbone: Corral - Kanan.

My main ride was a Titus MotoLite. I still have it, but I changed it up from all mtn. to more of a marathon class racer. The Titus feels more responsive at the pedals, but the Knolly is significantly more plush and stout feeling. Everything just looks smaller on the Endorphin.

I was surprised to see you get anything posted up after the trip, I'd imagine you've got to be a little swamped with work. Hope the order goes smoothly and looking forward to your pics and those from the rest of the clan down there.

Yes!!! Come on Noel, the pics look great but Jim's desperate for his D-T and I'm struggling to keep Mel's a secret any longer. I had to buy her an engagement ring at Christmas to cover up the lack of a frame shaped present.

BTW, very happy with the V-Tach, I love it more each time I ride it.

The order is leaving on Wednesday.

You can take the ring back maybe next week.

Hey Mutton!

Hope all is well!

Yup, we're starting to clear up back orders - finally! We are still getting caught up and we're still waiting for some frame to arrive (like the XLs and the powder painted frames) but they should all be here within the next week or so.

Cheers!

Well, it's getting picked up tomorrow, which gets it to the UK on maybe Friday. Then you have customs work on that end. Receive it in his warehouse, unpack my amazing packaging job, and then get the frame out to you.

You should have it in your hands next week. I hope the weather cooperates for you to get out and play.

Tim,,,wonders if he can sneak inside a carton for the trip to the UK....

If you rely on the weather cooperating, you don't do a great deal of riding around here.

Hey soliour!

I think that Mel's frame is shipping up to Canada from Spectrum Powder Works this coming week.

Cheers!

Some pics. Hopefully i can get some better shots this weekend....

Wanted to share some pics of the 5th ride on the DT....it's getting dialed in...

This was a jump that almost went bad...landed...rolled out fast out of a dry creek..

This short section of rocks is on a main hike and bike section we have down here....so not too many rocks but it's cool. THe DT just floated over it and i said "where the hell were the rocks!?"

climbing the beast.....doesn't look like much.....(see next pic down)

climbing this up about a quarter mile to the top...w/ breaks for pics with a friend....but fun! The DT really climbs SO WELL!

thanks for playin'!

that tounge is getting good pratice b/c it's going to lick that Epipy up off the ground when the DT runs over it.
