GITA 07 Part II: SBT!
(Los Alamos is a slightly odd sort of place)
With an eye to an easier sunday morning, we loaded up and head north to camp near Taos, stopping briefly to swim along the way.
(It's over, man. It is OVER!)
And then, after a "more-confusing and damaging-than necessary" shuttle, we were riding the South Boundary Trail. This was a repeat for me, but I wouldn never hesitate to ride this one, it is a sweetie.

(This is the part where GITA lives up to its name.)
Snacktime!
A snake's eye view of our sport.
One of the essential pleasures of this ride is bombing silly-fast through lovely stands of aspen.
The brief respite before the last, and vastly different section. Different vegetation, different terrain, different riding.
And then, after another parking lot/beer session, it was back home. Past THAT mountian again:
And northwards back to Colorado.
It was great to meet everyone. And to see folks again.

Great shots!
It was good to meet you this weekend. That 575 is a sweet ride. Also, thanks for the breakfast donation on Saturday, it helped with the climbing.

Amazingly. I'm biased and bleedin' turquoise, but they sure do ride purty.

I hesitated to open this thread for fear of being overwhelmed by pictures of people riding on beautiful trails and then being icapacitated and totally unproductive for awhile.
I wasn't dissipointed.
