Rocky Mountain High Gathering '07, a few pictures and words, Pt 2!

The next morning we woke up bright eyed and bushy tailed, had another breakfast that couldn't be beat, and headed back up the CDT to do the Mountian View trail over to the ski area. Overnight our ranks had increased.

Nickle showing us how it gets done.

"You caught me in mid-thought."

Did I mention how beautiful it is up there? I may have neglected that part of things.

Ah So.

So once afely ensconced at the top of the ski area, pretty much out in the middle of nowhere, our fearless regional guide ducked in the woods and came back with...

...an ice chest full of beer. HFCIT?

Good Living, that.

OK, here's the deal. I didn't take hardly any pictures at the ski area. I just rode. It was fun stuff though. Sort on the XC side of things, but it beats working.

Our group got all sorts of split up here, so I and a few others made tracks for the Yampa River for a post ride dip and regroup.

With just a small detour for some dinosaur riding.

Done.

Fantastic, Mr. AnthonyS... as usual. I'm kinda bummed Mr. Icegeek didn't bring a camera. Between you both and Mr. Ed Manager, we'd have a good 'ol fashion picture-off. When photographers compete, you win.

There were three of them on that ride. Two Prestons and one Covert.
