Afternoon PNF weekday ride 1/27/2007

Looking for anyone who is interested in getting around 20 - 25 miles in on Tuesday. I have no idea what I want to ride yet. Just chime in if you got the time.

Definitely starting in the afternoon around 1:00.

Peace.

I'm in.

1pm will be pushing it but I think I can make it. I might show up wearing a tie, just don't make fun of me!
Black Mountain trailhead? I need to go visit the rangers anyway...

The title of this post leads one to believe that you want to ride on January 27th, 2007.

I do my best riding when I ride in the past.

See everybody that is coming at the Black trailhead ~1:00, ready to ride by 1:30.

Peace.

Dates perplexing riding simple

I will be there at black mountain trailhead 1pm tuesday 1/27.

I get my dates confused, or maybe that's just the type of woman I attract.

today rode up from ledfrod gap lot to BRP accross Spencer Gap, down trace ridge then back to ledford lot. The tasty lugis added spice to a surprisingly energetic ride, must be getting over a cold.

I'm up 4 a twenty plus mile business casual pace ride

Interesting...Also went from LGL @ BC to BRP to Trace and back on Monday.

Also planning to attend today, and ride at a heavy drinker with a bad knee pace.

Is this an of unofficial ESC crowd or what? I'm "off" tomorrow. Great deal for some. I like to consider it as free therapy.

Thanks guys

One of the best days out on the bike in a long, long time. Perfect weather, trails were in prime condition, good company and a ton of fun. Thanks for making it happen on a weekday.

Anybody got pics?

What's next on the agenda?

Thanks everyone! What a great day to be out there.
Lots of breaks to enjoy the day:

Funky Bar Master:

Blurry Riders... musta been moving fast!

Yes, it was a very nice day to be on the bike:

3 SS 29ers:

I'd say Jack was psyched!

You can find more photos and a complete (almost) ride report on my Ride Log...

Mmmm

Johnathon and I are more psyched in the background of that last pic about the 12 lukewarm PBRs in need of drinking. Look at him hovering like a starving vulture! His fingers are already stretched out in anticipation to grab one, and I haven't even opened up the case yet.

Either that, or he is unable to move his hand after the BM downhill on the rigid bike.

SP, I heard the rustle of that bag as you were walking out of Bi-Lo.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm beeeeeeeeer. Too bad I had to hit myself in the crotch all the way home to stay awake.

Am I the lucky one or what? I was planning to do an easy 2hr ride all alone and I show up and stumble upon this bunch. I got more than I had planned, but not more than I needed. I think I sweated out that porkchop that has been slowing me down lately, so maybe I can get on a more consistent riding schedule. Thanks guys, I enjoyed meeting those I didn't know and seeing those I did.

Where could these photos lead?

Where could posting these photos lead?

1. sponsors approach eric about giving him more stuff to appear in next photo of him riding

2. girlfriend said I look like a geeky jock; photos of this group fail to dispell her opinion

3. jonathan contemplates design for post-ride beer camelback. We all wonder about sponsorship (free beer) from pbr or local asheville microbrews

4. additional ss 29er's in future pics

5. to more blissful rides

Good idea, I will work on that.

Hey Jack you got that 3D profile of the ride you were talking about? I would love to see it!

Peace.
