That was a fun ride! We started off with almost twenty people braving the snow and low 20 degree temps. Good stuff indeed.

After today's ride, I realize I have a lot more riding to do to get in the shape I was in last year.

Names for faces:
1) Jeremy "I don't have Internet"
2) Me followed by JoeP
3) ShivaSteve followed closely by IconoclaSSt's fluorescent arm
4) 32seventeen
5) Xander followed by Shiftless
6) ShiekP
7) Rockdogger
8) Vince
9) DmofoT

I took some pics too but didn't realize til after the ride that my camera battery was running low and none of the pics came out very well. That was a fun ride tho. Looking forward to doing it again.

C'mon rockdogger, post yer pics!

Was the snow deeper out of the woods? We had about 4-5 inches just north of you in Frederick, and my wife ended up overnighting elsewhere leaving me with the kids instead of a ride.

I got a short ride in later, but just around the yard.

Cheers

Hey,

Nice pictures. It sure looks cold, but riding is just as good in the cold I guess as it is during the warm seasons.

No it's not, but nice of you to say so and not rub in the fact that it's SUMMER where you are! =)

I never thought that I would miss the snow either. 32seventeen is the one that eventually pushed me over the edge to go singlespeed, payback for getting him to go clipless pedals I guess. I am glad to see him in his true colors (all black, although with a blue helmet, on the blue two circles), he was my personal Darth Vader of the singlespeed world, I have gone over to the dark side my lord. Although it is primarily sunny and warm where I live now. Great pics, makes me almost wish I hadn't moved back to TucSSon, not!

Here's some from JoeP that I cleaned up a little. I guess his camera is dark and moody.

Will they close Shaeffer......

If the melt begins? I'm thinking about getting up there this weekend and wondering how it will be with the melt.

I definitely would not ride if it was not below freezing, i.e., if it started to melt. Call this to check conditions of Schaeffer: 30.92.1998.

Is it just me, or when you hit the Backspace button, it jumps back two spots? WTF?

Happens here at work and at home.
