New Astrix Hardtale

Spent the day building a new hardtale, an Astrix Union, for my son Mike Wilson. He is in Seattle and was just set up by Astrix, Manitou and Truvativ. Sweet bike. I couldn't help but sneak a ride on it this evening before I ship it off to Seattle tomorrow.

Yeah, he is going to love this bike. The P2 held up fine except for the rims are weak. I used a few parts from the P2 to build up this Astrix, like the brakes, back rim, seat and headset, thats it. The back rim was tweaked enough to rub and I had to true it and I just replaced the front rim with the Atomic. I am sure the rear rim will have to be replaced before long. But other than that the P2 is a nice bike, this Union seems real sweet also. I love the blue color.

Thats' a sweet frame! I think i remember seeing one of those for sale on ebay a month back and thought it was sweet then, but the blue one looks better than the yellow.
